The Domesticated Robot: Design guidelines for assisting older adults to age in place


 The main aim of this project is to design and construct the domesticated Robot: Design guidelines for assisting older adults to age in place robot for physically challenged. The user can wear this device to head and with the simple head movement’s he can control the robot and can send commands to robot, requesting the basic needs like water, food or medicine by using MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Sensor) technology. The requests will be announced by the robot which has the voice circuit and also Remote camera. The project also supports video camera mounted on to the robot of the live video transmission. 






Robot to rescue of a child in a borehole


The project aims in designing an “Robot to rescue of a child in a borehole” which is capable of moving inside the pipe according to the user commands given from PC. The project also used for Picking and Placing of objects based on arm design.

 The robot is operated through PC using wireless Zigbee technology and using wireless camera you can view both audio and video on the TV. This robot has a high power LED which acts as a light source when light intensity inside the pipe is low. It is a low cost robot used to monitor the changes of different parameters in the industrial pipes. 





Voice operated intelligent Lift/Elevator


          The main aim of this project is to design and construct a voice operated lift/elevator control system. This system acts as human-machine communication system. Speech recognition is the process of recognizing the spoken words to take the necessary actions accordingly. User can also control the electrical devices like fan, door etc with the help of voice recognition system. This device is very helpful for paralysis, short height people and physically challenged persons.

FOOT STEP POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

           In this project we are generating electrical power as non-conventional method by simply walking or running on the foot step.  Non-conventional energy system is very essential at this time to our nation.  Non-conventional energy using foot step is converting mechanical energy into the electrical energy.  This project using simple drive mechanism such as rack and pinion assemble and chain drive mechanism.


For this project the conversion of the force energy in to electrical energy. The control mechanism carries the rack & pinion, D.C generator, battery and inverter control.  We have discussed the various applications and further extension also. The D.C generator used in this project is Permanent Magnet D.C generator. The Generator is coupled to the fly wheel Shaft with the help of Spur Gear Mechanism.

WIRELESS POWER THEFT MONITORING WITH AUTOMATIC CIRCUIT BREAKER SYSTEM AND INDICATION AT LOCAL SUBSTATIONS

Power theft is the biggest problem now days, which causes huge loss to electricity boards. And to cover these losses ultimately, price are increased. So if we can prevent these thefts, we can save lot of power. By keeping track of electricity used, you determine where the greatest opportunity for energy savings lies. Becoming aware of overall energy use involves keeping track of the readings on the readings on the electric meter.

The normal practice for power theft is to short the input and output terminals or to place a magnet on the wheel in case of old meters. So by sensing current flow through the line & energy feed back we can prevent it using a circuit breaker.
